Playing “Sure Bets” (either a pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings, or Aces) will only get you so far before you start wondering why your Bankroll is growing slower than the hair on your head!
If you know how to hold your cards correctly, and you feel that you’re ready to “up your game” and your Bankroll, then start aiming for the higher practical winning combinations today.
Here are a few other tips that we can offer to take your Video Poker game to the next level.
- If you draw a Pat Hands Stand (a “Full House”) on the first draw, then Stand.
- If you draw Four Cards to a Royal Flush, then Hold four and Draw one.
- If you draw Four Cards to a Straight Flush, then Hold four and Draw one.
- If you draw Three of a Kind, then Hold the Three of a Kind and Draw two.
- If you draw Two Pairs, then Hold the two pairs and Draw one.
- If you draw a Pair of Jacks or Better, then Draw three cards (only if you don’t have any of the other above winning combinations!)
- If you draw Two Cards to a Royal Flush with No Combinations (i.e. Three of a Kind), then Draw three cards.
